This "Chicken Heart" (Jixin) master cup is a study in dynamic vitality and material innovation. Revitalizing the classic Ming Dynasty silhouette, Yuchen and Judy have pushed the boundaries of porcelain through a proprietary blend of traditional kaolin and high-temperature Yingqing glaze. This creates a translucent "ice-like" body that breathes with a jade-like luster, far surpassing the visual depth of standard Qinghua.
The "Fish in Lotus Pond" motif is rendered through an innovative "Layered Wash" (Shuifen) technique, achieving a mesmerizing gradient of Smalt blue that mimics the soul of ink-wash painting. Each piece undergoes a grueling 1320°C wood-firing in a traditional reduction flame, resulting in a rich tapestry of microscopic bubbles and natural glaze flow that is impossible to replicate via industrial means.
