Here in Time I, II and III are part of the Delicate series. This listing is for the triptych. Please view my other listings to purchase each artwork separately.
In Japan, the cherry blossom season is a time to contemplate the duality of gratitude and melancholy that the beauty of blossom is so brief. Through the Delicate series of artworks, I explored the tender thought, that like cherry blossom, our lives are fleeting.
I am Saskia, I handweave plant-based fine art which elevates mindful living.
By bringing the ancient craft of handweaving into contemporary form, my large-scale artworks explore our collective need to live more sustainably, in harmony with nature.
I use natural vegan yarns such as linen, hemp and paper, to create textural artworks that sensitively bring to interiors a deep sense of connection to natural wellbeing.
