Heliconia is a sculptural floor lighting system inspired by the organic rhythm of tropical heliconia flora, reinterpreted through an architectural lens. Each ceramic form appears to grow along a vertical axis, creating a layered composition of light, shadow, and material presence.
Designed as both a lighting object and a spatial element, Heliconia transforms corners, corridors, and living spaces into softly illuminated architectural moments.
Unlike conventional floor lamps, Heliconia is conceived as a modular lighting structure allowing light to be composed, expanded, and refined over time.
Heliconia draws from the spiraling geometry and layered structure of botanical growth. The form does not imitate nature literally, but translates its underlying logic rhythm, repetition, and organic stacking into ceramic and wood.
Each ceramic “pod” functions as a sculptural light node, producing a soft diffused glow that interacts with surrounding textures such as stone, plaster, timber, and fabric.
The result is a vertical lighting landscape rather than a single object.
