Harbor of Light is a meditative sculptural lamp born from the dialogue between reclaimed materials and Eastern philosophy. A 1987 vintage chair back is reshaped into a wave of time, carrying a 1980s hand-thrown ceramic bowl as a “boat of the heart.” Three fragments of aged architectural tile outline the distant shore. When the LED candle within the bowl is lit, it becomes a quiet symbol of arrival — the boat “fully loaded with time,” reaching the harbor of inner peace.
Materials & Craft: Wave base — 1987 vintage chair back, reshaped and polished (46cm L × 27cm W). Boat — 1980s hand-thrown ceramic bowl, embedded in the wood. Shore — fragments of period-appropriate reclaimed architectural tile. Light source — modern energy-efficient LED candle light.
Dimensions: 46 cm L × 27 cm W × 7 cm H (18.1ʺ × 10.6ʺ × 2.8ʺ).
One-of-a-kind.
