Seamlessly bridging centuries of imperial grandeur with contemporary interior design, this Museum Edition Qing Dynasty Qianlong Style Famille Rose "Millefleurs" (Wanhua) Gold-Gilded Celestial Globe Vase (Tianqiuping) stands as the ultimate pinnacle of traditional Chinese porcelain artistry. Designed to serve as a commanding visual anchor, its monumental 54 cm (21.3 in) silhouette, lush botanical tapestry, and radiant gold-gilded accents bring an opulent Oriental aesthetic that effortlessly elevates both prestigious Western living spaces and refined Eastern studies.

The Art of Reproduction & Lineage
This masterpiece is born from a profound dedication to preserving intangible cultural heritage. Rooted in a family lineage descending directly from the official imperial kilns (Guan Yao) of the Song Dynasty, our co-designers Yuchen and Judy, alongside master artisans, meticulously reproduce museum-caliber treasures. Modeled after the legendary regulatory drafts of the Imperial Household Department (Neiwufu Zaobanchu), this specific vessel is a faithful homage to esteemed imperial kiln artifacts, capturing the supreme regal aesthetics and solemn majesty of the high Qianlong era.

The Imperial "Wanhua" (Millefleurs) Craftsmanship & The Four-Month Firing Odyssey
Historically celebrated as the zenith of overglaze enamel mastery, the "Wanhua Bu Lu Di" (Myriad Flowers Covering the Ground) technique leaves not a single millimeter of the underlying white porcelain exposed. Across a single vessel, over 30 distinct hues are harmonized from nearly a hundred individually formulated and tested mineral pigments. Following the initial drafting on the fine porcelain body, a team of master painters collaborates for dozens of consecutive days to meticulously outline, shade, and wash every micro-petal before the vase ever enters the kiln.

Crafted with a dense, remarkably even, and tightly structured porcelain body, the vessel undergoes an unforgiving double-firing process that demands absolute precision in kiln temperature and atmosphere. Because of its monumental scale and the extreme sensitivity of the multi-layered enamels, the entire production cycle takes a minimum of four months from raw clay to final firing. The rejection rate is staggering—the vast majority of pieces are lost to warping, structural stress, or glaze imperfections during the kiln transformations. How many flawless masterpieces survive each firing is ultimately left to fate, making every completed vase an extraordinary, hard-won rarity.

The Motif — A Tapestry of Ten Thousand Blossoms ("Wan Guo Lai Chao" / Universal Prosperity)
The expansive, spherical belly and elongated tubular neck serve as a continuous 360-degree botanical canvas that exemplifies the historic glory of "crowing the world of painted porcelain" (Cai Ci Qiao Chu):
- Dynamic Spatial Composition: The floral layout is masterfully tailored to the curves of the Celestial Globe silhouette—tightly woven and compact along the slender neck, then blooming into expansive, sumptuous clusters across the full, rounded belly.
- Unrepeated Botanical Symphony: Master artisans layer dozens of auspicious flora—including imperial peonies, sacred lotuses, chrysanthemums, and camellias. Petals overlap in lush three-dimensional depth while stems and foliage intertwine seamlessly. Despite its breathtaking density, the composition remains disciplined and harmonious, with no two floral groupings ever repeating.
- Crown-to-Foot Perfection: The rim is crowned with real gold gilding and an intricate enameled border that transitions naturally into the body's floral sea, paired with a serene turquoise-glazed interior. Even the base rim is fully adorned with matching百花 (hundred-flower) motifs resting above a cleanly trimmed foot ring and turquoise-glazed underside, showcasing uncompromising structural and decorative mastery from every angle.
- Imperial Auspiciousness: In classical palace culture, this "Ten Thousand Flowers" motif symbolizes an era of universal peace and nations paying homage ("Wan Guo Lai Chao"), carrying timeless blessings of boundless prosperity ("Guo Tai Min An") and the Five Blessings entering the home ("Wu Fu Lin Men").
