Hand-knotted in wool originating circa 1890-1900, this antique Persian rug connotes a rare Lori rug design, known among the most uncommon tribal rug lineages for geometric figures like those in this pictorial pattern seen in transitional beige, blue, and varied hues against a rich brown background. Enjoying both the richness of color and the intriguing, implied familial connotation of striking detail seen here, this antique Lori rug further enjoys only a very mild wear consistent with the age of this piece, mostly relegated to the border and leaving the piece in generally excellent condition for a nomadic rug of such a seldom-seen antique Persian rug tradition on the market. A cultured, significant find both conversational and versatile in its small 3x5 size to a variety of eclectic interiors.
