The Hashi is a Titanium travertine coffee table, a low, quiet table that lets the material carry it. It is built to be looked at, the travertine given room while everything around it stays deliberately spare.
Titanium travertine shares the layered, sedimentary character of its Roman cousin in a cooler register, its banding running from silver through to charcoal rather than warm beige. It reads as quiet and contemporary, a travertine at home in monochrome and pared-back rooms. Each top is unique to the block it came from, and no two of these Titanium travertine coffee tables are ever quite alike.
Beneath the top, the making is all economy. Two panels of the same travertine meet perpendicular and lock together into a self-supporting cross-leg base, one slotting through the other, the join left in open view as the single detail the design allows itself.
As a Titanium travertine coffee table it holds a room quietly, as at ease in a living room as anywhere. The Hashi is an Italian coffee table made to order in Cantù, in Lombardy's long-established furniture district, drawn from a palette of full-slab stone, solid timber, and premium Italian glass.
