This piece is an evolution in material and texture. Something I had visualized creating for quite some time.
Each love individually cut, welded, sanded for hours and hours and hours, then hand placed (just as if I were painting it) then welded to a steel plate at varying depths. The upper layer lays flush with the frame while the outer pieces are welded into it and ground then sanded to look as if it’s one solid piece.
