Reimagined by designers Yuchen and Judy, this set achieves a masterful balance between historical Ming Dynasty proportions and a contemporary aesthetic sanctuary. It is a dialogue between the power of the forbidden palace and modern sculptural elegance.
The set is meticulously executed in Imperial Midnight Black-Gold Wood, an exceptionally rare timber of sink-in-water density that ensures everlasting value. The visual character is defined by an extreme, obsidian blackness punctuated by cold, crystalline gold glimmers within the grain. Every surface of the chairs and the tea table is enveloped in complex openwork carvings, a testament to months of precision hand-chiseling that pushes the boundaries of traditional joinery.
