Amanda McLaurin is an artist obsessed with color, texture, and shape.

With a desire to create pieces that were both sculptural and fiber based, she began wrapping wooden panels with wool and mercerized cotton. She loves exploring unexpected color stories and gathers inspiration from vintage quilt squares which are mimicked in the patterns of her color blocks.
