The Diamante Console is a sculptural stainless steel console table by Nitush Aroosh, part of the Diamante Collection. Its curves and worked planes capture and scatter light across shifting angles — the optical behaviour of a cut diamond resolved into a functional, ever-changing surface.
Each piece is formed through hydroforming and then hand-worked to produce the collection's crystalline surface — multiple angled planes that catch and refract light from every direction. The process gives the steel the visual logic of a cut gemstone, achieved entirely through a handmade, one-of-a-kind process.
Those faceted surfaces produce an optical experience closer to a diamond than to conventional furniture — light broken apart and distributed across surrounding walls and surfaces. The effect evolves continuously as the viewer moves or as ambient light conditions change.
Slender and precise, the Diamante Console suits entrance halls, living rooms, and architectural interiors — its shifting surface equally effective at a glance or under sustained attention.
Nitush Aroosh is the New Delhi-based collectible design studio of brothers Nitush and Aroosh Mahipal. Their practice uses hydroforming and hand-hammering to push stainless steel beyond its industrial origins — into forms that are fluid, reflective, and alive with light.
