The frame on this mirror is finished in a rich Espresso Opaque Stain. It coordinates perfectly with the darks of the bark and grain patterns.

Burl are unique formations found on trees often under stress from hard winters, water flows or mineral depletion. The Burl has become highly prized for their intricate patterns and rich colors. These unique patterns make each piece of burl wood distinct, and the natural variations ensure that no two pieces are identical. Cherry burl is one of the most beautiful of all burls.
I seek out burl primarily from the Northeast US. I mill it, dry it, and stabilize it. The unique pits and void are filled with dark epoxy resin and the surface is finished to a perfectly smooth satin finish. This unique design celebrates the beauty of wood. Making each mirror a one-of-a-kind creation.

This natural wood Mirror works with a number of Décor styles & aesthetics. Rustic, Primitive, Organic Modern, Farmhouse, Country Contemporary or Eclectic. Or as Art or artistic accent in Modern, Contemporary or Minimalist style decor.
