Thank you for your interest in this handmade coffee table made from rare California Redwood Burl. Using a corresponding color scheme that highlights the wood's natural beauty, the epoxy resin river was inspired by the natural beauties of the world. The pigment color is Caribbean Blue by Black Diamond Company. The final product is sanded down and has an epoxy table top finish applied to protect your wood.
This California Redwood Burl is over 1000 years old. This exotic table comes from one of the rarest slabs we have ever brought into the shop. A burl is a growth on a tree formed from unsprouted bud tissue. The burl forms large, knobby looking growths on the base and trunk of the tree. Stress caused by injury, fungus, virus, or insects creates intense grain patterns. It’s very rare in nature.
Care Instructions:
Use mild dish soap and warm water to wipe clean and buff dry. Avoid dusting with a dry or old cloth, this may scratch the finish. Clean up spills immediately. Avoid polish that contains ammonia or silicon. Dust with a soft damp cloth by following the wood grain.
