◾ MINERALS AND MEDIUMS:
four layers of concrete, sand, pigment and clay on canvas housed in a handcrafted poplar floating frame.

◾ BIOGRAPHY:

Dedicated to the enchanting dance between moon and ocean. An ode to the beauty found in the quiet moments of the night. Inspired by the moon's gentle reflection on the ocean's surface. Each concrete layer echoes the ebb and flow of the tides, mirroring the intricate rhythms of the mind. Blue and gray pigment, reminiscent of moon-kissed waves. A reminder that just as the moon casts its serene glow over dark waters, the beauty of our inner landscapes' shines brightest in moments of contemplation.

The process of creating "ethereal tide" emerged from a state of transient detachment, navigating life on autopilot. For weeks, the canvas became both refuge and confidant. Each layer of texture was contours of emotions felt and avoided. She bears witness to the weight of my unspoken shame, and radical acceptance. I find solace in motion, an anchor amidst existential uncertainty. Somewhere in between this detached and hypervigilant focus, I feel most connected to my artwork.

The past few months have felt as if I was walking on an entirely dark beach, walking further into deeper water instead of finding my way to shore. Aimlessly wandering without knowledge of what I needed to get there or where I was even going. All I knew was that I had to keep walking. For all who find themselves navigating the uncharted waters of self-discovery, I promise you, each new day the moon becomes brighter helping you find the shore. Even in the darkest of nights, there exists a profound beauty waiting to be unveiled, a luminous tapestry woven from the threads of introspection and resilience.

The human experience is a mosaic of light and shadow. The shadow work we must confront on human journey towards self-growth and self-love is the process that holds the key to change. Sometimes I need to remind myself if I just keep walking, even without direction, it's better than sitting still. I am the moon, cycling through changes and on the pre-determined journey written for me. I will be full again.

Just as the moon's reflection transforms the ocean into a celestial canvas, our own minds possess the capacity to turn even the darkest moments into a source of ethereal beauty. We are all testaments to the resilience of the human spirit, finding solace in the gentle ebb and flow of life.

The spaces we inhabit shape our well-being ✴︎ art is the bridge between environment and emotion. Blending raw materials like foraged clay, rock pigment, gemstone, and wood, we create art that enriches both space and spirit.

As partners in life and craft, our work reflects a shared belief that when we engage with art that carries deep emotion, it awakens something within us—a desire to express, to create, to connect. A home enriched with art and expression fosters a deeper connection—not just to the space itself but to the emotions, stories, and memories that define us.

Our handcrafted paintings, sculptural forms, and textural compositions are both tactile and emotional, inviting each viewer to find their own meaning within them. Through these pieces, we explore the transformative power of art as a means of self-nurturing. Just as we create to cultivate the better parts of ourselves, we hope our work inspires others to do the same—to engage with art in a way that encourages emotional depth, self-awareness, and a more compassionate view of the human experience. Expression fuels connection, and connection strengthens communication. We hope to inspire not just appreciation, but participation—a world where art becomes a bridge between us all, fostering a culture of emotional openness and shared human experience.

By integrating natural materials, grounding textures, and intuitive design, we aim to offer more than just visual beauty—we offer art that resonates, that speaks, that becomes part of the rhythm of daily life. Because when art exists not just to be seen, but to be felt, it has the power to turn a house into a sanctuary and a space into a story.

My wife and I had the pleasure of chatting with Taylor and Connor while dining at our restaurant, as they were visiting New York City. We exchanged contacts and later decided to purchase a custom painting for our new home. During our conversation when we met, the couple called themselves a “small business”. After our encounter with them professionally, we have to say that statement is a complete injustice to the masterpieces this couple curate together….

Taylor’s attentive nature and attention to detail during the entire process was refreshing. We labor a handful of creatives yearly for our businesses, and their humble generosity is unmatched. Despite a tight lead time our art arrived before deadline, in pristine condition, and with a most impressive framed biographical description of the works.

We look forward to working with the Robinson’s again. We will share the photographs of our new art in our Miami home when we receive them.
