Clipper 2 is a sculptural ceramic wall light designed to transform ambient illumination into a quiet architectural experience. Composed of overlapping hand-finished stoneware forms, the piece conceals its light source behind layered ceramic panels, allowing illumination to softly emerge through the edges in a warm halo-like glow.
Inspired by eclipse geometry and the rhythm of layered forms, Clipper 2 creates depth, atmosphere, and material warmth without visual glare.
Designed as both lighting and wall sculpture, the piece introduces a calm spatial presence to contemporary interiors.

Design Inspiration
The Clipper collection explores the relationship between concealment and illumination. Its layered ceramic construction allows light to “peek” from between each clay form, producing a soft reflected glow that changes subtly depending on viewing angle and surrounding textures.
The composition draws inspiration from overlapping sails, lunar eclipses, and organic layering found in nature translated into architectural ceramic form.
Rather than acting as direct task lighting, Clipper 2 is intended to shape atmosphere through indirect illumination and shadow depth.

Each Clipper 2 wall sconce is individually handcrafted in high-fired stoneware ceramic and finished by hand in our workshop.
The natural ceramic surface preserves subtle tonal and textural variations that make every piece unique.
