The discovery of Jagoda Buić's abstract creations with folds, layers and bumps captivates me and makes me travel through my memories of youth and maturity, where sensations, touches, shapes and colors are mixed. Natural colors of fabric, as if it were left over from skins and plant fibers. With raw colors of dry herbs in summer, along with the white of the houses of Cadaqués and the black color of the dry stone walls that support the terraces and make up the landscape of the town and Cap de Creus. It is the Cadaqués series.

This work done in a cream tone is inspired by the landscape of terraces. Each strip of fabric is a terrace made with effort by the farmer to be able to work the land on the slopes of the mountains. It evokes nature and the tones of the fields worked by farmers in summer, configuring an orderly and geometric landscape that invites the viewer to create their own interior landscape.

What is possible is always greater than what already exists.

At the heart of Anna.C’s practice is the belief that possibilities extend beyond what already exists. Imagination allows us to explore and multiply them; creation brings one of those possibilities into being, and each new reality expands the field of what is possible once again.

From this perspective, Anna.C has developed a contemporary art practice open to different materials, scales, disciplines and forms of expression. Each work begins with the exploration of a possibility and the search for how to bring it into existence. This freedom to explore is grounded in a distinctive artistic identity—one that can evolve without being bound to any single material, technique or discipline.

Her work has a strong physical and spatial presence and can develop from singular works to large-scale projects and interventions conceived in relation to architecture and space. This capacity for expansion naturally positions her practice at the intersection of art, contemporary spaces and contexts in which the work can take on new dimensions.

Anna.C has an international practice spanning private collections and art, hospitality and residential projects. Her work has been selected for international projects including Four Seasons projects in Florida and Saudi Arabia, Canyon Ranch, Conrad Hamburg and Vanderbilt Residences in Puerto Rico, as well as projects in New York and Dublin. She has worked with international art platforms, galleries and art advisory firms including Tappan Collective, Kevin Barry Art Advisory, ArtLink, Wescover and ÚNICO Gallery.

In 2026, she was selected for inclusion in the Homo Faber Guide by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship.

Her practice continues to expand through new works, large-scale projects, spatial interventions and collaborations across architecture, design, cultural institutions, brands and special projects within the world of luxury, continually extending the possibilities of her artistic language.
