🥑 Avocado! 🥑The main challenge in this one was to get the creaminess of the avocado. It took me a while, but I'm fairly happy with it! 😀I painted this one during a week where I was eating a lot of avocados (as one does), and I kept looking at them thinking "these would be fun to paint." The colour shifts from the skin to the flesh are subtle but really interesting, and getting that soft, buttery texture without making it look mushy was tricky.Also had to resist the urge to add toast. 🍞A fun kitchen art print that pairs well with our other fruit still lifes (Clementines, Bananas, Tangerine) if you want to hang them as a set!
