Art deco bone inlay mirror in black and white chevron. A tall geometric wall mirror for a bedroom, dresser, hallway or living room.
◤ Stepped, not flat
The frame steps down in tiers toward the glass. An outer band of chevrons, then a black recess, then a run of narrowing bone stripes that draws the eye inward. That stepped profile is where the art deco lineage sits, and it is why the frame throws real shadow across itself as the light moves.
Every chevron is two pieces of bone cut and set at an angle against black, and every stripe on the inner steps is another. A frame this size runs to well over a thousand separate pieces, each one placed by hand.
📐 Sizes
Small: 24 in W x 36 in H (61 x 91 cm)
Medium: 28 in W x 42 in H (71 x 107 cm)
Large: 32 in W x 48 in H (81 x 122 cm)
Depth 1 in. Hanging hardware fitted.
✦ Where it goes
Above a dresser or vanity, where the vertical proportion suits the wall.
Hallway or entryway, where a tall mirror opens the space.
Living or dining room, as the single graphic object on a plain wall.
Black and white sits on anything. It reads crisp on pale plaster and luminous on olive, charcoal or navy.
🕊️ Materials
Buffalo bone, hand cut and hand set
Solid frame body, black finish
Mirror glass
Resin
Made to order in India. Set by hand, so no two frames are identical. Small variations in tone and grain come with the craft.
🧼 Care
Dust with a dry soft cloth. Avoid cleaning sprays and standing water. Made for indoor walls, not for a steam room or an unventilated bathroom.
📦 Delivery
Crated for transit and shipped tracked from India.
Every piece is insured in transit. If a mirror arrives seriously damaged we replace it. If the damage is minor and can be put right where you are, we cover the repair.
Photograph the crate before you open it. It takes a second and it settles any claim quickly.
