From a pair of collaborative prints produced with Uruguayan designer Antonio Carrau. The act of the tearing and assembling patterned papers inherent to Carrau’s process is maintained through the clearly visible white of the torn edges that also nod to the deckle of the printmaking paper. Between the two designs, certain patterns oscillate between foreground and background, confusing the situation of the still life scene in space.
