Originating between 1930-1940, a 6x7 antique tribal kilim rug from Turkey.

Handwoven in all wool, the seemingly simple design witnesses two distinct patterns woven together to enjoy a vibrant marriage of stripes & chevrons. The employment of green, red, off-white, blue and beige-brown is an intriguing colorway in this panel-woven style; exemplary of designs from this era.

In 1989, Rug & Kilim celebrated a major milestone with the opening of its second store in Morristown, New Jersey.
