A carved wood panel from 1920s China, reimagined as a sculptural wall piece — equally at home in a hallway, study, or intimate interior. The rich, dark patina and traces of original gilt bring warmth and history to contemporary spaces.
Originally part of an interior screen or window grille, this 1920s carved wood panel carries a patina developed over a century. Traces of original gilt are still visible, softened by time into a warm, subtle glow. This is a genuine architectural fragment — no two pieces are alike.
Mounted on a custom floating backplate with a 2cm gap, the panel is ready to hang with pre-installed hardware. The back panel and accessories are new.
One-of-a-kind original.
