Hand woven in wool originating from Persia circa 1950-1960, this mid-century vintage Persian Kilim was woven from a distinctive paneled style of the period. The marriage of the panels connotes the precision of the hand-made striped pattern in this variation of earth tones; a transitional pallet of black and beige brown complementing the soothing, reserved nature of this vintage flat weave. The subtle transition of the rich brown into the burgundy red hue further complements the sense of movement with a sense of gravity and refinement; a rich addition to the Kilim & Flat Weave Collection by Rug & Kilim.
