Upon the waters is a white and blue abstract painting on canvas. It’s a work I love very much, because of its freshness and uplifting feel. In making this painting I was inspired by the amazing views I see whenever the bora, a strong northern wind that blows over Trieste, the city where I live, hits the sea surface, creating an amazing energy.
The original 27.6x31.5x0.7" (70x80x2cm) artwork on canvas, is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands.
Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience. It's signed on the back and ready to hang.
