Private Home in New Hampshire, NH, NH
We created this custom one of a kind fire pit patio/coffee table as an interactive piece that would pay homage to the backstory behind the slabs. The pair of Juniper slabs came from a tree that died in The Dude fire in 1990. The tree was on the fire line which resulted in this “scorched” notch out of the side. We combined the 3" thick bookmatched live edge slabs to form a natural charred hole in the center which we built to house a tapered octagonal steel firepit. The 6" burner is fueled by a mini 1 gallon propane tank with a low flow regulator valve. The fire pit was fill with chunks of Himalayan salt rock. This table was purchased by a family for their New Hampshire lake house patio to roast s’mores and stay warm.
