Inspired by a recent trip to Greece, this one-of-a-kind, hand-formed vase boasts a rounded silhouette with a soft matte stone finish that beautifully changes color in different lighting conditions. A series of small spikes encircles part of the rim, adding movement and a touch of raw, sculptural detail. With a minimal yet tactile nature, this piece makes a statement on its own as a vase for branches, blooms, or simply as a decorative piece.

• Color: Creamy Matte
• Material: White Stoneware
• Designed and handcrafted in Bend, Oregon.

Studio Ceramics

My current practice is rooted in a desire to push the boundaries of clay—experimenting with form, scale, and surface to create pieces that move beyond function into quiet, architectural presence. I work with a range of clays and glaze techniques, embracing subtle shifts in tone and texture that reflect the landscape and its muted natural palette.

Influenced by mid-century studio potters, minimalist design, and the rawness of natural materials, I strive to create work that feels grounded, contemplative, and tactile. Whether small-scale functional pieces or larger sculptural forms, each piece is hand-built with intentionality—embracing imperfection and individuality as part of the process.

My background in food, photography, and time immersed in the outdoors first led me to ceramics as a way to elevate everyday rituals—meals, flowers, and plants—through objects that felt as good in the hand as they looked on a table. But over time, that love evolved into something more exploratory and sculptural.
