TITLE: "Ovum," an egg or embryonic form, simple, clean, flowing lines. An atmospheric piece that is meant to blend into ones environment and be part of the feeling of a space.
HOW IT IS MADE: Modular mixed media painting on birch wood panels. This piece begins with cutting the shapes by hand, shaping and sculpting them to flow with its sister forms. Each panel has up to 7 layers of the mixed media, including: metallic wax, India ink, oil paint, metal art foil, and art resins.
INSTALLATION: each panel is pre-installed with a metal french cleat system. It will arrive with a template you tape onto your wall to show exactly where to drill holes and install the french cleat system. Arrives with all installation hardware for drywall.
NOTES: Due to the nature of the paints, resins, and inks, each piece will be one of a kind. Care will be taken to match the colors and scale, but please note that unless specified, it will have variations in the hue and tone of the colors.
