This piece is a custom wall hanging. It was created with a specific color palette in mind - rust, butterscotch, pumpkin, cream, and grey - to coordinate with the client's current living room decor.

It uses recycled cotton cord, hand-dyed wool roving, and a dip-dyed fringe. It hangs from a square wooden dowel, and measures about 36" wide by 48" tall (the dowel is wider than the actual macrame).

I love working with my hands, whether it's using traditional tools or digital. Often I try to repurpose items like salvaged books, discarded house paint, or recycled cotton fibers.
