Entangled explores the complexity of human emotions and relationships. Its rich texture, tangles, and knots reflect conflict, connection, and the layered nature of our inner lives. Much of my work is inspired by the parallels I observe between nature and psychology. Like the strata of rock formed over time, the human psyche is composed of many layers, each contributing to the depth and complexity of who we are.
This piece is made of merino wool, cotton cord, raw nettle yarn, linen yarn, roving, felted wool, wound rope, handmade cord, raffia, leather cord, separately woven elements. It is 35" tall, 32" wide, and 3" in depth. It hangs on 36" walnut dowel.
