Neon Dunes was an idea born on Martha's Vineyard to Miami-native artist Lily Keller. Her then-6-year old son said "Mom you should paint nature, but make it more neon". She liked the idea and ran with it. Today, she and her three boys create fun and whimsical designs that she turns into fabric, tapestries, and wallpaper. They live in Miami Florida and escape to Martha's Vineyard as often as possible.

Lily is a self-taught painter who enjoys a creative process that encompasses her life with 3 boys--sometimes she is in the studio, and other times she is out and about with her camera. She believes art is ultimately about perceiving life, and beauty, and nature--and that happens outside of the studio just as much as it does with a paintbrush in hand.

Lily is also a painting teacher and coach to artists; She has an online oil painting class for beginners and when her schedule allows she is a guest instructor at Featherstone Center For the Arts on Martha's Vineyard. Her first book "The Self-Taught Oil Painter's Guide" is due out this June.
