Winner of the Blue Man Group’s 2017 “Living in Full Color” art competition, the “Blue Vessel” painting hangs in the lobby of the Blue Man Theatre on North Halsted Street in Chicago. A 10’ x 10’ replica of the painting is also on the side of the building. Blue Vessel was created by blowing paint over layers of gauze and then a series of transparent washes were applied to bring out some areas and cause others to fall back.
