This 48×36 inch mixed-media painting suggests abstracted boxers in the ring, emerging through bold arcs of color and layered found paper. Raw, gestural marks and distressed textures create a sense of movement and tension, balancing instinctive energy with controlled structure. Features spray paint, acrylic, vintage paper and oil pastel. Presented on a substantial 2.25″ deep gallery-wrapped canvas, the work is signed, dated, and wired — ready to hang. Bold layered paintings built from found paper and paint. Los Angeles

I make layered collage paintings, that create visual histories. My current mixed media work is rugged and blends areas of design with those of absolute chaos, wielding newspaper, paint, markers and spray paint. The editing process is about layering–adding and covering back up. My practice dances around with abstraction and figuration. I use exaggerated lines and color, developing art that is bold, physical and has an overall element of fun.
