I make layered collage paintings, that create visual histories. My current mixed media work is rugged and blends areas of design with those of absolute chaos, wielding newspaper, paint, markers and spray paint. The editing process is about layering–adding and covering back up. My practice dances around with abstraction and figuration. I use exaggerated lines and color, developing art that is bold, physical and has an overall element of fun.IMPACT
