New Arrivals in Storage

Yes, many Wescover makers specialize in custom cabinets tailored to your exact specifications. You can request personalized dimensions to fit challenging spaces, select specific wood species and finishes, choose hardware styles, or modify interior configurations for your storage needs. Custom solutions allow you to maximize awkward alcoves, match existing furniture finishes, or incorporate unique features like wine storage, charging stations, or display lighting. Working directly with independent makers gives you access to bespoke craftsmanship that addresses your functional requirements while reflecting your aesthetic vision perfectly.

Our handmade pieces are created by independent artists who approach storage as an opportunity for artistic expression. Unlike mass-produced furniture, each unique sideboard and cabinet showcases carefully selected materials, innovative joinery techniques, and distinctive design details. These pieces are crafted in small batches or as one-of-a-kind works, ensuring your storage solution stands apart from conventional options. You'll discover unexpected material pairings, heritage woodworking methods, hand-applied finishes, and contemporary interpretations of traditional forms. Many makers incorporate reclaimed materials, sustainable practices, and time-honored techniques that result in heirloom-quality pieces with character and soul.

Production and delivery timelines vary by maker and piece complexity. Ready-made designer cabinets typically ship within 1-2 weeks, while custom cabinets require additional production time—usually 6-12 weeks depending on specifications and the maker's current workload. Complex unique sideboards and buffets with intricate details or custom finishes may take longer. Each product listing includes estimated timelines, and makers communicate directly throughout the process to provide updates. Many pieces require careful packaging and specialized shipping due to their size and craftsmanship, ensuring your cabinet arrives in perfect condition. Contact makers directly through their profiles for specific timeline information.

Caring for your unique cabinet preserves its beauty for generations. Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth to prevent buildup. For wood pieces, use furniture polish or wood conditioner occasionally to maintain the finish and prevent drying. Avoid placing cabinets in direct sunlight or near heat sources, which can cause fading or warping. Use coasters and placemats on top surfaces to protect from moisture and heat. Clean spills immediately with a slightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly. For unique sideboards and buffets with specialty finishes like wax, oil, or lacquer, follow the maker's specific care instructions. Most makers provide detailed maintenance guidance and are available to answer questions about preserving your investment.
