The Zuma Para low shelving uses solid para wood in an open bookcase design with a natural finish. The specific cubicle size is the perfect fit for Zuma storage boxes that slide in and out as shelving storage. We use the best quality, solid, and natural finished hardwoods which are very durable and support our sustainability commitment.
The Zuma Para low shelving is made of solid Para wood with a natural finish. This is a sustainable Asian hardwood of exceptional quality that have beautiful grain patterns and a color similar to Maple. It has an inviting modern wood charm and the natural finish brings out the beautiful tones and subtle grains of the wood. The mid-century modern inspired open bookcase design features space variations with some compartments sized for the Zuma storage boxes to easily slide in and out. Zuma storage boxes are sold separately.
We love using quality solid hardwoods because of the beauty and durability, but we also love this specific eco-friendly engineered wood because it allows the variation of the wood color and grain to be a highlight and give each piece a unique character. It also repurposes wood pieces from a pre-consumer recycling process. We also use a natural hand-rubbed finish which soaks in leaving no residue and makes a durable surface to bring out the warmth and inviting beauty of the wood. It can truly last years and years as a premium durable piece and keep looking amazing! Our Sustainability Mission includes keeping it out of the landfill!
