A meticulously crafted desk in California Claro Walnut, with African Ebony Accents. Two slabs meet with a curving ying-yang shape joint, with an ebony inlay highlighting the curve, The base a personal take on a George Nakashima-esqe trestle base, with mortise and tenon joints and brass pinning. The center runner connects the two legs with a fully removable knock-down style wedge joint.
The table top uses the natural gap where the two slabs meet to house a small media port with USB, USB-C, and an outlet. A hand cut brass cover sits flush with the table top when not in use.
This desk is the pinnacle of my personal woodworking skillset and is ready to be hand delivered or shipped to the discerning client wanting an elegant desk for their workflow.
