Inspired by ancient gorges, carved into the earth over thousands of years.

This pair were woven by hand using the finest Egyptian cotton, using the traditional tabby weave and a self developed signature knot. The frames are completely handmade in house... cut, drilled, scorched with a blow torch and finished with the highest attention to detail.

The left piece is 100cm x 100cm.
The right piece is 100cm x 132cm.

Weaving: Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified (no toxic chemicals), 100% Egyptian cotton.

Solid Oak: Sustainably sourced & 100% FSC approved.

Wood finish: Eco friendly & totally food safe ‘Odies Oil’.

All my pieces arrive ready to hang, with special wall hooks supplied (you just need the correct wall plugs for your wall). I also include a Certificate of Authenticity for each individual piece, signed & dated.

Contemporary wall art inspired by nature

Elle is a Textile Artist based in the Midlands UK, born in Canada.

Originally gaining her degree in Three-dimensional Design & Silversmithing at Loughborough University, she has since been drawn to larger-scale wall art using natural fibers, to adorn private residences and businesses all over the world.​



She is especially influenced by rugged coastal landscapes and luscious overgrown woodlands. These are often explored as a family of 3 in the North Cornish/Devon coastline, or the mountainous National Parks and waterfalls in the North of the UK.​



Drawing inspiration from these sources, Elle creates contemporary pieces that embrace the beauty of irregular patterns found in nature: either literally in her landscape themed works or in the composition of an abstract piece.



​“I want people to look at my work and imagine their favorite place in nature, where they feel calm, completely at peace and the anxieties of everyday life can simply fade away.”​



Elle uses the technique of traditional weaving and her own signature knots. She hand makes all the wood frames herself to the highest standards, to achieve full flexibility and precision in her designs and bespoke pieces. Enabling each work of art to be a true one-of-a-kind, much like nature’s offerings. ​

I love this piece (Gorge 001) so much from the moment I saw it. Then it was difficult to choose between her amazing pieces but I am very happy I stuck with this. The piece is so unusual and textural and has a very calming and even mesmerizing effect.

The quality of the frame, and the materials is excellent. It was sent with a certificate of authenticity and ready to hang, even a template for hanging was provided.

I will update this will a picture soon.

Elle was wonderful to work with, an excellent communicator in addition to being a talented artist and very nice as well. The shipping was much faster than I expected and the piece was packed with care and came through perfectly.

This set of 3 wall hangings exceeded my expectations. They are truly stunning, the artist's manipulation of materials and unique painting technique combine to create an exceptional piece of art that I absolutely love seeing hanging in my home. They were well packaged and easy to hang.

I’ve had 2 large bespoke items from Elle & they are wonderfully impactful & offer that statement that rooms often need. They have a very sophisticated but calming effect in a room also due to the softness of the materials Elle uses. I have also had a third smaller piece personally for my daughters room that I love.

Working with Elle was a DREAM! I had been swooning over for work for ages until the time finally came for me to dress up the entry wall in my new house. Let me start by saying that Elle is the kindest, loveliest human. She is warm and friendly and communicative. She asked me many questions during the initial consultation and kept me updated through the process so as to ensure that we were both on the same page every step of the way. I was asking for her largest piece to date (at the time) and she accepted with enthusiasm. It was no mean feat shipping a meter-wide textile and driftwood masterpiece all the way to Arizona, but she did it and it was both safely and beautifully packaged with exquisite attention to detail. I look at my giant “wave” every day and it never gets old. It’s always the first thing people comment on when they enter the house too! It’s only a matter of time until I make space for another creation of hers, I’m sure!
