P.I. Project has been celebrating and honoring Mexican artisanal craftsmanship for over 10 years.
We are a French–Mexican project that creates home décor objects blending contemporary style with traditional techniques, the result of valuable collaborations with our partner artisans.
Our wooden candlestick holder is hand-carved by artisans from a cooperative in Veracruz. It is made from gliricidia wood, a tree native to the region. Each piece is sanded until the desired shape and quality are achieved, and the finish is done with beeswax, avoiding the use of varnishes and fillers.
The wood used by the cooperative is sustainably sourced through reforestation efforts.
This wooden Paloma features five candle holders (2 cm in diameter). Its five “wings” are movable, as well as its base.
