Cotton string and hand-painted acrylic
This statement piece was inspired by "The Call of the Wild" poem by Robert Service and my own inspirations found in nature through color and shape. It was hand knotted taking nearly 200 hours to complete and uses my own meticulously hand-dyed strings as well as some hand-painted accents.
The piece is mounted by three loops for even weight distribution and weights ~30 pounds total.
