The mosaic is called "The Whisper of the Night" and is a part of the "Stone Flowers" series. This mosaic captures the essence of flowers that bloom in the deep dark of a moonless night, lit by nothing but starlight. Every single flower in this composition is special, each with its own unique character. This piece combines mosaic technique with installation elements, forming a floral composition made entirely from natural stone. Each flower is individually constructed, giving the work a dimensional, almost sculptural quality. The arrangement is intentionally irregular, creating rhythm and variation across the surface. Every stone was hand-split using a traditional mosaic hammer. By intentionally retaining the raw fractures, natural grain, and uneven edges of the marble and granite, the piece honours the elemental beauty of the stone.
