This vintage 5x10 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.
Further on the Design:
Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970, this piece represents one of Müren’s unique rug styles. Its colorway enjoys a unique use of neutrals in subtle variations of beige, brown and light green tones. Keen eyes will admire that sheer attention to detail and the movement it creates—an exemplar of Müren’s talent for marrying simplicity and distinction in a tasteful balance. It’s a comfortable and collectible boho chic rug, and its versatile runner size offers vast applications as well.
Condition:
This mid-century rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its pile has been lowered, which lends it the look of distress in the texture.
