Hand knotted in textural, durable fabric originating between 1950-1960, this vintage Moroccan Berber rug enjoys the idyllic play of geometry and color celebrated among the ancestral tribal weavers responsible for its beauty in this lineage. The very progressive, modern checkerboard pattern complements the sheer variation of lively and rich colors and their subsequent juxtaposition within the field. Hues of red, pink, green, blue, gold-yellow, beige-brown, black and more offer a very joyful tone and a playful sense of movement that accents the shag-like texture of the fabric.
