This vintage 4x6 Bokhara tribal rug is among the most exciting new additions to Rug & Kilim’s Collection; from a newly curated line of unique pieces entering their vintage tenure, made with hand-knotted wool and originating from Pakistan circa 1970-1980.

This vintage design demonstrates exceptional compositional discipline through its systematic all-over pattern of repeating geometric medallions arranged in precise rows across the dramatic deep black field. The signature gul motifs—stylized geometric forms—are rendered in luminous, warm tones of soft peach, pale gold, and muted slate green against the profound darkness, creating a high-contrast, jewel-box effect. The medallions employ a structured diamond and intricate cruciform configuration.
