An exploration of the graphic styles used to direct our attention, reproducing these patterns in lush color, abstraction and composition. The print has a lot of textural detail of saturated colored pencil marks.

Urban Textural Abstract - Original artwork, print, and design

"I am producing 3 dimensional paintings using paint replicas of manmade surfaces. The intuitive compositions utilize structures, colors, and harmonies. Groups of paintings create dialogues between the textural manmade surfaces and color senses, and draw the viewer into a vibrant scape of overlapping planes."

Helena Blue Parriott - Born in Seattle Washington, 1987. Works now between Goias, Brazil and Seattle, WA. in painting, sculpture, performance, and sustainable art material experimentation. Her two main bodies of work are - Dissociation: Collages with fractured textural scapes in color and harmony, and Transmission: Symmetrical line drawn with both hands, exploring universal symbols and glyph visual language. Her educational base includes formal (BFA, CCA 2010) atelier-based education in glass making processes, and master painting and sculpture mentorship. Residencies include Wheaton Glass Center (New Jersey), Museum of Glass (Tacoma), Zelezny Brod Technical Class School (Czech Republic).

I asked my mother in law for a piece from Helena's "Dissociation Series" for Christmas and it was easy for her to communicate and purchase from her through Wescover. I also found her to be communicative as well and I got the piece early even! Like all great art, it was even better in person. So happy to have her work in my collection and in my home. I recommend collecting from her.
