Made In USA

Meet Truvy. A little country glamour, a quick wit, and always room for one more in the conversation. Named with a nod to Dolly Parton’s beloved character in Steel Magnolias, this original painting celebrates Southern warmth and unapologetic personality. Expressive layers and playful marks give her a charm all her own. Created with Mended’s hand-block-printed textiles woven into the composition, Truvy brings together two kinds of handmade storytelling. On view and available through Mended at The Arbors in Round Top. 20x20, on a gallery wrapped canvas.

Wescover creator since 2026
I make art that feels collected, not decorated.

Carrie Song is a Texas-based artist creating original paintings and mixed-media works shaped by color, texture, memory, and the beauty of imperfection. Her work moves between expressive abstraction and loosely figurative subjects, with layered surfaces and intuitive marks giving each piece a sense of history and individuality.

Carrie creates art for spaces that feel personal and collected over time. From large-scale abstract works to her distinctive cowgirl series and smaller works on paper, each piece is made by hand and intended to bring character, warmth, and a little unexpectedness into a room. Original works and commissions are available for residential, hospitality, and design projects.
