A collection of tondo (circular paintings) exhibited at BOZAR, Brussels as part of the Accessible Art Fair.
Exhibited were a collection of original ink paintings ranging in size from 40cm - 120cm diameter.
This specific collection worked with the gesture of an elliptical circle, created with one gestural flow of the brush. With the intention of exploring the sensations of creating and observing a dynamic form; either tight or loose, open or closed, singular or in relation to another.
Shown alongside these were some smaller ink paintings that were hand gilded with 24 carat gold leaf over terracotta bole underpainting.
These paintings were finished with art resin. Can come with either with a matte varnish finish.
