Emily Roose founded Emily Roose Interiors with the creative vision to provide interior design services that meet the client’s needs, wants, solve design problems, and to create a unique blended perspective that reflects the client’s personalities. She takes the time to learn about her client’s, listen to what they want and need and with her knowledge, experience, and education she creates spaces that reveal the unique vision and voice for each project that is client centered and focused. No matter what your design style is from modern, traditional, transitional, art deco, arts & crafts, farmhouse, mid-century modern, eclectic or maybe you do not know we love designing and we will create a cohesive space that is comfortable, approachable, tranquil, and home to you.
Emily believes in a hands-on collaborative approach to all her design projects. She works closely not only with her clients, but with the architects, builders, sub-contractors and vendors to successfully complete the overall design vision as a team. We get involved early in the process to assist with the overall vision of the project. For several years she worked for and gained valuable experience working for an architectural firm, custom home builders, high-end interior designers and showrooms which gives her a well-rounded and unique perspective on how to work with everyone involved in the process.
With over a decade of experience in the interior design industry spanning from California, Washington, Hawaii, and Nevada, Emily is a multi-ASID-award winning interior and furniture designer. Many of her projects are around Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake, Reno, and in the prestigious gated communities of Martis Camp, Lahontan, and Schaffer’s Mill in North Lake Tahoe, and Kukuiula on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. From her start in the interior design industry in Los Angeles she gained valuable experience in high-end luxury residential, commercial, hospitality, medical offices, home staging, furniture design, sustainable and historic preservation design. Emily has a passion for furniture design and has custom designed numerous award-winning pieces for her clients.

Born and raised in Southern California, Emily brings a blending of sophisticated style, luxurious resort living infused with her client’s personalities to all her design work. “I want my projects to truly reflect my client’s and what home means and feels like to them as well as being an environment that promotes health, restoration of the soul, and overall well-being of the occupants,” states Ms. Roose. Emily received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and is an accredited Home Stager from the Haverhill Institute of Staging and Redesign. She is a professional and proud member of the American Society of Interior Designers, International Interior Design Association, Interior Design Society, US Green Building Council, and the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
