To minimize the waviness, The artwork can be dry-mounted onto a stiff substrate by a professional frame shop. Those of us who work on paper recognize that this is not unusual and the arwork can be framed in a deeper box frame that will recognize rather than hide that property. This figurative artwork has first been drawn, painted and collaged abstractly on paper. After I create the "environment", I draw a figure model onto the page in an exciting fashion that responds to what is already existing on the page. It is great creative fun to combine reckless abstraction with careful body observation.
