I was seven when a jellyfish stung me in the warm waters of Colombia. Standing there, stinging and indignant, I thought: what a terrible creature.
Then I grew up and realized we were the ones swimming in their waters.
Jellyfish are ancient rebels. They have survived mass extinctions, rising temperatures, centuries of human destruction. They don't apologize for existing. They simply persist.
Ania Prange hand-built and patina-finished the wood frame and the metal plant holders. Every material comes from the earth. Organic cotton. Indigo dye. Copper. Wood.
Four air plants live in the arms. No soil needed. Low maintenance. Living art.
