The butterflies radiate out from the centre of the frame in a circular pattern, which has order and symmetry only broken by one single escaping & precious 24crt gold leaf butterfly. I love that it has an initial abstract, modern feel and reveals the butterfly design on closer inspection. The 3-dimensional aspect creates beautiful shadows which give the artwork a life of its own and changes throughout the day in changing light situations.
