Two summer solstice still lifes anchor each side of the painting. One looks out of a window, and the other in. Women swim together, ducks and flowers soar in the colorful dusk, mackerel swim towards a labyrinth which also beckons us to enter. Three Cambodian girls on a motorbike head into the labyrinth and continue travelling around the painting. Bonfires of St. John light the water as Frederiksborg Castle quietly watches. A marble statue looks down protectively from the summer sky. Figures look towards the viewer, away from the viewer, and in multiple directions, exploring the canvas in a three dimensional way.

My art creates a feeling of interconnectedness and ambiguity so that we can experience the world a little differently.

I create abstract and representational oil paintings. I paint wet into wet and often mix colors on the canvas to blur the boundaries between objects. My intent is to create a feeling of interconnectedness and ambiguity so that we can experience the world a little differently. I also create charcoal from unique materials such as money, food, documents and plants. These materials have meanings that I can integrate into a drawing or painting.
